Gbike believes everyone deserves access to the transportation they need, regardless of income. That’s why we offer GCOO Access — our low-income plan for customers — to those who qualify. Those who are approved for the program can enjoy up to unlimited rides for up to 30 minutes each month. After the 30 minutes have finished, discounted fares will be applied. GCOO access will also offer options for customers who do not have a smartphone or credit/debit card to use GCOO services.

GCOO Access makes it easy to check the details of an application or website so that all customers can easily recognize it. Gbike also plans to do additional promotional activities in Equity Zones where we are deployed to help potential customers register for GCOO Access and become familiar with our service.

Customers who do not have a credit/debit card issued by a bank can use our service by charging credits to the wallet in the application. Customers visit the guide in our application or website and deposit money directly into the company's bank account. After depositing, if you call the Customer Service Team or send the customer's account information by email, the total amount will be credited to the customer's wallet.

Customers can also ride GCOO using Apple/Google Pay, one of the smartphone payment methods. The customer simply selects Apple/Google Pay from the payment method menu in the GCOO app and register to ride. 

 

Prepaid Debit Cards 

One of the easiest ways for customers without credit cards to utilize our services is to use prepaid debit cards, which are widely available at grocery stores and retail locations throughout the City. Customers simply load cash onto a prepaid card, which can then be used as a payment method to purchase credit within the GCOO app.

  • Driver’s license or state ID card

  • Proof of enrollment in a government income-based assistance program including SNAP, Medicaid, Reduced-rate utility bill, free or reduced school lunch program, reduced transit fare program, social security supplemental income, WIC, and/or subsidized housing.

  • Customer’s chosen method of confirmation (email, phone, mail)

Gbike will work closely with its community liaisons to advertise GCOO Access, show customers how to sign up for our service, and educate customers on safe riding practices. We will conduct outreach at local events hosted by advocacy and community organizations, local colleges and universities, as well as organize our own promotional activities.
